WWE Night of Champions is all set to pop off tonight (Sun., Sept. 15, 2013) from the Joe Louis Arena in Detroit, Michigan, at 8 p.m. ET, live on pay-per-view (PPV).

HHH is out to get everyone hyped.  As he continues to deliver his message, Axel and Heyman interupt.

Heyman is upset that HHH hasn't responded to any of his messages.

Heyman wants the handicap elimination match (which is now no dq) to be canceled.

HHH says there shouldn't be a problem if Heyman believes in Axel and says that the match stays.

HHH "fixes his mistake" and has Axel put the IC title on the line against the first person he runs into.

That person turns out to be Kofi Kingston.

Intercontinental Championship Match: Curtis Axel (c) vs Kofi Kingston

In a very entertaining bout that got a suprising amount of time- Curtis Axel retained the Intercontinental Championship.


RVD and Ricardo pump each other up.


AJ Lee in the back and the rest of the Divas that supposedly had her back are bailing on her.


Divas Championship Match: AJ Lee(c) vs Brie Bella vs Nattie Neidhart vs Naomi

In a pretty bad match- AJ Lee retained as Divas Champion.


World Heavyweight Championship Match: Alberto Del Rio (c) vs RVD

In a match that featured good action, RVD won by disqualification when ADR refused to let go of the of the arm bar when RVD got to the ropes.

After the match, ADR went for a chair but Ricardo made the save and would set up RVD for the Van Terminator.


Heyman pleading with Axel in the back about their match tonight.


Orton is upset with HHH for banning everyone from ringside.

HHH says that he is testing if Orton really is worthy of being the face of WWE.


The Miz vs Fandango

In a pretty typical match that didn't go for long, the Miz defeated Fandango via the Figure Four.


CM Punk vs Curtis Axel and Paul Heyman in a No Disqualification Elimination Match

Punk gets the advantage by getting the elimination of Heyman.

Punk goes to town on Heyman with the kendo stick and even breaks part of it off on Heyman.

Punk is getting ready to finish Punk off when Ryback tackles him through a table!

Ryback places Heyman over Punk and Heyman gets the win!

Ryback carries the barely conscious Punk through a table!


United States Championship Match: Dean Ambrose (c) vs Dolph Ziggler

In a good match, Dean Ambrose retained his United States Championship when he pinned Ziggler after hitting the headlock driver


Tag Team Championship Match: The Shield (c) vs Prime Time Players

In a fun match that saw Rollins bumping like a mad man, The Shield retained as tag team champions.


WWE Championship: Randy Orton (c) vs Daniel Bryan

Daniel Bryan defeats Randy Orton! YES! YES! YES!

Excellent match that featured a ref bump that teased the smoz all throughout.  When the original ref got back into the match he may have given Bryan a fast count.
