Does Punk typically phone it in for house shows?

I was at the house show in Boston last night. We were excited to see CM Punk, but after a 3-4 minute video recap of the Heyman feud, 2 minutes of Axel entrance, and 3-5 minutes of Heyman mic time, we got pretty damn dissapointing match.

Punk's music hit, but he didn't come out for an uncomfortably long time. When he arrived, he forwent his usual entrance, simply strutting down the the ring with kendo stick. The match we got consisted of a kendo stick beating, maybe 3 or 4 actual moves, a pin by punk, and a few chair shots for good measure. No drama, tension, or storytelling. Punk was down the ramp and back up in what felt like 5 minutes.

My girlfriend and I were pretty bummed, having hoped to see the guy work. We have theories as to what was up, but we really don't know.

Theory 1: We've never seen Punk at a house show. Maybe he doesn't give the good stuff away unless the cameras are on (especially if the house show is at the home of the Boston Bruins)

Theory 2: Maybe he's trying let an injury heal, or just sick. He didn't take many bumps, if any.

Theory 3: They ran out of time. Bryan/Orton was up next, and the show ended cleanly at 10:30. It's possible that earlier matches ran long, but if that's the case, it seems odd that they'd go ahead with the Punk/Heyman video package and Heyman's mic time. If he was upset about the sloppy scheduling, that might explain the no-show fakeout when his music hit.

I'd like to think it was a time management issue, and not Punk deliberately snubbing the audience, and if he's working hurt, I hope he heals up well. Anyone else seen Punk at a house show lately? Is this unusual, or par for the course?
