WWE Main Event spoilers and open thread for August 28

We've got spoilers and an open thread for tonight's (Aug. 28, 2013) episode of WWE "Main Event" from Las Vegas, Nevada, featuring Curtis Axel vs. Cody Rhodes, and much, much more.

WWE Main Event comes waltzing back into our lives tonight (Aug. 28, 2013) at 8 p.m. ET on ION Television from Las Vegas, Nevada. As per usual, this episode was taped on Tuesday prior to the Friday Night SmackDown tapings.

In lieu of a live blog, we're going to hit you with spoilers for tonight's show while also providing an open thread for discussion once the broadcast goes live.

- Curtis Axel def. Cody Rhodes in a solid match designed to let the Intercontinental champion get over how he can heading into Night of Champions and his match with CM Punk. Sucks for Rhodes to go right back to jobbing after coming out so strong from the Damien Sandow feud.

- Prime Time Players def. Real Americans with Titus O'Neil pinning Jack Swagger. It should be noted that everyone loved the babyfaces in "Sin City" and the "MILLIONS OF DOLLARS" dance was popular. The Real Americans continue to be booked into oblivion.

- Kofi Kingston def. Fandango via disqualification after Summer Rae interfered and got caught. Hey, at least he didn't just walk out of the match, right?

Enjoy the show, folks!
