The S3: Vote for Best Performer of the 2013-14 Season, Week 20

Join in a discussion with your fellow internet fans about the past week in pro wrestling: who entertained us the most, and why!

Everybody who comes to Cageside Seats has an opinion about what's going on in pro wrestling - The Smark's Shoot Standings (S3) are where YOU let us know YOURS.

Cast a vote in the comments. Give us the three performers you think entertained or impressed the most in the last week, and feel free to talk about why. And/or vote for your top performer in our poll.

We also have the outcome of last week's voting, the results of which make up our annual competition for Performer of the Year.

Remember, the Standings are for the previous week's nationally televised pro wrestling shows - WWE's SummerSlam pay-per-view (PPV), the August 19th episode of WWE Monday Night Raw, Wednesday night's WWE Main Event, TNA Hardcore Justice/Impact from August 22nd and the WWE SmackDown that aired on Friday the 23rd.

Make YOUR mark, smarks!

• Lots of votes for the Champ who is no longer here, who isn't a parody in your eyes.

• Right behind him was Brad Mad, for whom our favorite role is slimy referee, apparently.

• A sawed off shotgun blast of support landed a lot of folks in the weekly Standings via a whole mess of ties. Starting with a TNA original who has pretended to be a millionaire and a real-life billionaire at number four.

• Sixth saw a pre-Ring of Fire cult leader knotted up with an Intellectual Savior and the President of Aces & Eights, who once again became TNA World champ.

• And each earning a whopping 0.6 annual Standings points for their five-way tie for ninth were the United States champion, the Best in the World, Mr. Tracy Brooks, Big Hungry and the Whole F'n Show.

As is often the case on PPV weeks, there are alot of tough decisions to make. There were more great performances in the main WWE angle alone than there are slots on a ballot. If you're the type that likes to do a little research, CSS is your hook-up for coverage of all the past week's action - SummerSlam, Raw, Main Event, Impact and Smackdown. Then get ready for another week of pro rasslin' by voting!
