WWE Main Event spoilers and open thread for Aug. 21

We've got spoilers and an open thread for tonight's (Aug. 21, 2013) episode of WWE "Main Event" from Bakersfield, California, featuring The Shield vs. The Usos & Kofi Kingston, and much, much more.

WWE Main Event comes waltzing back into our lives tonight (Aug. 21, 2013) at 8 p.m. ET on ION Television from Bakersfield, California. As per usual, this episode was taped on Tuesday prior to the SmackDown tapings.

In lieu of a live blog, we're going to hit you with spoilers for tonight's show while also providing an open thread for discussion once the broadcast goes live.

- The Shield def. Usos & Kofi Kingston in your typical six-man tag match involving The Shield. The good news here is that Seth Rollins knee appears to be completely fine as he worked with no limitations. Plenty of near falls before they scored one more for the bad guys.

- AJ Lee def. Naomi with the Black Widow in your typical Diva's match. I'm guessing we're seeing stuff like this for Total Divas.

- Great Khali def. Jack Swagger, despite the fact that Antonio Cesaro and Zeb Colter were out. If you've read the SmackDown spoilers, then you know how bumbling and inept the Real Americans really are. Worst tag team in singles action you'll ever see.

- Bray Wyatt def. Justin Gabriel. I swear Gabriel has a record going for the most matches worked in the final TV match on Main Event. This was a squash, though.

Enjoy the show, folks!
