Paul Heyman has found his newest...girl?

Paul Heyman finds his newest...girl? Los Matadores repackaging, Sin Cara injury, and more!

Speculating on the rumors surrounding pro wrestling is a favored pastime of many fans, perhaps second only to actually watching the matches. In this daily column, we take a look at the latest rumors being churned out by the pro wrestling rumor mill.

Important reminder: Rumors are just that -- rumors. None of this has been confirmed as legitimate news or fact; so remember to take it all with a grain of salt.

Rumors for the Day:

  • Paul Heyman has been a busy man of late as he works to destroy his former "guy" in CM Punk. Heyman has also been seen recently potentially looking to recruit an NXT talent as a new "Paul Heyman Guy." Well, how about a "Paul Heyman Girl?" There is a strong rumor right now suggesting that Heyman may soon take on NXT women's champion Paige as his next client. Their relationship would likely be restricted to NXT for the time being, as Heyman is still busy with Punk on the main roster. This has led to a belief that Heyman may recruit a big name star from the main roster to battle Punk now that Brock Lesnar is back on hiatus, possibly until WrestleMania 30. Ryback, who has lately been occupied with bullying backstage employees, is mentioned as a possibility.
  • WWE teased a new pair of matador themed wrestlers, "Los Matadores," last night on Raw. For those excited that this may be some new NXT talent getting the call up, I've got some bad news for you. "Los Matadores" are a repackaged Primo and Epico.
  • Also on Raw, the Sin Cara/Alberto Del Rio match was cut well short after Sin Cara broke and/or dislocated several fingers while landing hard outside of the ring. Depending on the severity of the breaks and/or dislocations, he could miss anywhere from several weeks to several months. One has to wonder that if this injury, the latest in a long string that have plagued Sin Cara since coming to WWE, will be the last straw for his disappointing WWE career.
  • NXT talent Dante Dash has been released by the company. Dash, real name Teon Freeman, has been with the company since NXT was still Florida Chamionship Wrestling.
