Rampage Jackson vs. Tito Ortiz booked for Bellator PPV on Nov. 2

What's Tito Ortiz doing coming out of retirement to battle Rampage Jackson on Nov. 2, 2013, on Bellator pay-per-view? Doesn't he know he's messing with the Main Event Mafia?

It wasn't long ago that reports came out teasing a boxing match pitting Rampage Jackson against Roy Jones Jr. in a pay-per-view (PPV) showdown that few found any reason to care about. As it turns out, that may have simply been a clever bit of misdirection.

Indeed, it was revealed earlier this evening that Rampage will in fact be featured in the main event of Bellator's first ever PPV event but it won't be opposite Jones and it won't be a boxing match. Instead it will be for a light heavyweight showcase against the returning Tito Ortiz, who will be coming out of retirement.

No word just yet on whether the Main Event Mafia will be ringside to fend off any run-ins from Team Punishment.
