Kaitlyn's secret admirer was AJ Lee all along, match booked for WWE Payback

It was revealed on tonight's (June 10, 2013) episode of "Monday Night Raw" in Richmond that AJ Lee was scheming against Kaitlyn and she was behind the secret admirer gag all along. Now the two will have a match at Payback on Sunday night in Chicago.

Just yesterday, we conducted a poll here at Cageside Seats asking you loyal readers who Kaitlyn's secret admirer would turn out to be. And because I'm an idiot, I forgot to set the poll to close before the big reveal on tonight's (June 10, 2013) episode of Monday Night Raw in Richmond.

Which means there are still votes coming in, most of them for Hornswoggle (the leader) and Big E. Langston.

After a brief tease that Langston was the guy, it was ultimately revealed that it was a giant scheme masterminded by the devious AJ Lee to get back at her best friend for not being there for her throughout the past year and a half, a tumultuous time in her life.

During the segment, it was also revealed the two have been booked for a Diva's championship match at the Payback pay-per-view (PPV) this Sunday night at the Allstate Arena in Chicago, Illinois.

From the WWE.com match preview:

Having executed to perfection her diabolical ploy of pretending to be Kaitlyn's secret admirer, AJ Lee will now try to rob the Divas Champion of more than just her self-confidence when they square off in a match for the butterfly-emblazoned title at WWE Payback this Sunday.

Whether the underhanded tactics employed by AJ will actually give the "pint-sized powder keg" a psychological edge against the powerful champion or just further motivate Kaitlyn to turn back the challenge of her onetime best friend will be made clear soon enough.

If this sounds like a bit of a lame storyline to you, the execution of it was actually pretty incredible. Kaitlyn is a bit stiff, sure, but the promo AJ Lee cut on her after revealing herself to be behind the scheme was brilliantly done, and actually built some heat for this showdown.

Now is there any chance in hell WWE doesn't put the title on AJ?

Here's the updated Payback match card and line up:

- John Cena vs. Ryback (3 Stages of Hell for the WWE championship)
- CM Punk vs. Chris Jericho
- Wade Barrett vs. The Miz vs. Curtis Axel (Intercontinental championship)
- The Sheild vs. Daniel Bryan & Randy Orton (Tag Team championships)
- Dean Ambrose vs. Kane (United States championship)
- Kaitlyn vs. AJ Lee (Diva's championship)
- Sheamus vs. Damien Sandow
