The tenth episode of Off The Top Rope
...the Cagesider's Pro Wrestling Podcast - made for you - by fans like you, has been made available to you as of yesterday (May. 2, 2013), by none-other-than your fellow Cagesiders, Mike (aka vfn) & Rex Ivanovic (aka Buckeye Brawler).
Each episode features the guys discussing the latest news and goings-on of note in the pro wrestling world. Plus, they review a classic professional wrestling event! This week's episode features chatter from Mike & Rex on the mic discussing the week that was and more, in addition to talking current events, they took on WCW Halloween Havoc 1998!
- [0:03:00-0:09:00] The guys talk SmackDown, specifically Undertaker vs. Dean Ambrose, and ask if this week has been as good as it gets for matches on WWE TV.
- [0:09:00-0:32:30] It's Raw time, including talk of dance-offs, the tease of Antonio Cesaro moving to the next level, Ryback is Batman now, and is The Shield stuck in a rut, creatively?
- [0:32:30-38:30] The guys discuss the John Cena injury, if the WWE house show culture needs to change, and if the Rock has wrestled his final match.
- [38:30-43:30] Now they just lash out at TNA for TNA'ing -- perhaps harder than they have in months.
- [45:30-1:37:30] It's Halloween Havoc '98! Mike & Rex talk Steiner Math, the rematch nobody wanted to see, a great main event, and whether or not it's getting cut off the PPV taping was incompetence or underhanded promotional tactics, botched fireballs... We have a lot of honorary LVPs this week, and very few MVPs.
- [1:37:30-1:47:00] Finally, they reveal which show they're watching next week with Jason Mann of Wrestlespective (SPOILER: it's --- Souled Out '98) and they also discuss an email that brings up the Diva's division.
