Hello, Cagesiders! Welcome to the Cageside Seats Week in Wrestling once again!

What happened last week? Find out below, Cagesiders.

Raw (May 20th)

  • Ryback entered the arena in an ambulance, promised that he would leave John Cena needing a stretcher again and challenged him to an ambulance match at Payback.
  • Chris Jericho & The Miz defeated Fandango & Wade Barrett when Miz submitted Barrett with the Figure Four leglock. During the match, Barrett wasn't pleased with Fandango's posing and dancing. Afterwards, Jericho went after Fandango, but he bailed, so Y2J instead danced with then pie-faced Summer Rae.
  • Vickie Guerrero announced a WWE App poll to determine Jack Swagger's opponent later on. The choices were The Great Khali, R-Truth or Randy Orton. No prizes for guessing who won that vote.
  • Daniel Bryan and Kane had an argument over losing the WWE tag team titles at Extreme Rules. Kofi Kingston tried to calm them down, but Bryan stormed out regardless.
  • Sheamus pinned Titus O'Neill with the Brogue Kick.
  • Paul Heyman introduced his latest client Curtis Axel (the former Joe Hennig / Michael McGillicutty). Triple H, upset at his loss to Brock Lesnar the night before, slapped Axel about like a jabroni. It was then announced that Hunter vs. Axel would be the night's main event match.
  • Big E Langston pinned Alberto Del Rio with the Big Ending.
  • AJ Lee submitted Layla with the Black Widow.
  • Cody Rhodes pinned Zack Ryder with the Disaster Kick. After the match, Ryback decimated Ryder with a clothesline, powerbomb and the Shellshock, before tossing him into the back of his ambulance.
  • The Shield defeated Team Hell No & Kofi Kingston when Roman Reigns pinned Kane with the Spear.
  • An employee told Triple H that he hadn't been cleared to wrestle tonight by his doctor, but Hunter ignored the advice.
  • Kaitlyn was hanging out with Natalya and had obtained the mobile phone number of her secret admirer. Cody Rhodes then walked past and Kaitlyn stole his phone whilst Natalya grabbed him. It turned out he's not the person chasing after Kaitlyn.
  • Randy Orton pinned Jack Swagger with the RKO.
  • Curtis Axel apparently defeated Triple H by doctor stoppage when Hunter became dizzy, disoriented and almost passed out.

NXT (May 22nd)

  • Sami Zayn (the former El Generico) pinned Curt Hawkins with a tornado DDT.
  • Antonio Cesaro squashed Yoshi Tatsu with the Neutralizer.
  • After the match, Cesaro claimed that no-one in NXT was in his league. Sami Zayn answered the open challenge and we had an impromptu match between the two.
  • Sami Zayn upset Antonio Cesaro with a rollup. Cesaro then laid out Zayn with the Neutralizer to get his heat back.
  • Audrey Marie called Emma's dancing stupid to her face and threatened to "take her out". A starving Emma interpreted that to mean that they should get something to eat together.
  • Mason Ryan squashed Enzo Amore with a torture rack swinging neckbreaker.
  • A major announcement by Stephanie McMahon was promised on next week's show.
  • Bray Wyatt pinned Corey Graves with Sister Abigail after interference by Luke Harper whilst Erick Rowan distracted the referee.

Main Event (May 22nd)

  • Alberto Del Rio pinned Big E. Langston with a rollup.
  • The Usos defeated 3MB's Drew McIntyre & Jinder Mahal when Jey Uso pinned McIntyre with the splash off the top rope. During the match, Ryback drove his ambulance to ringside, threw Heath Slater inside it and sped back to where he came from.

Superstars (May 23rd)

  • Tons of Funk (Brodus Clay, Sweet T, Naomi & Cameron) defeated The Usos & The Bella Twins when Clay pinned Jimmy Uso with a big splash.
  • Damien Sandow pinned Alex Riley with the Silencer.

Smackdown (May 24th)

  • MizTV opened up the show again. This week's guest was Fandango. Miz squabbled with him saying he looked like a bag of Skittles dancing. Wade Barrett interrupted to tell Fandango that "he hasn’t encountered a more pathetic waste-of-skin in his entire life". Miz then reminded Barrett that he would be defending the WWE Intercontinental title against him tonight, which led to a brawl between the two.
  • The Miz defeated Wade Barrett via disqualification when Fandango kicked Miz in the face. After the match, Barrett and Fandango double teamed The Miz until Barrett hit Fandango with his Bull Hammer elbow finisher.
  • Kane and Daniel Bryan had another argument when a paranoid Bryan thought Kane was implying he was the weak link in Team Hell No again.
  • Daniel Bryan defeated Jack Swagger with the No Lock. After the match, Kane attempted to celebrate with Bryan, but instead his angry tag team partner reapplied the No Lock on Swagger and Kane had to pry him off The Real American. Bryan then headed to the back without Kane, chanting "Yes!" all the way.
  • Michael Cole said that WWE’s ringside physician, Dr. Michael Sampson, claimed that John Cena was just "banged up" and should be ready for Raw next week.
  • Damien Sandow was interviewed by Matt Striker, complaining about the one-upsmanship between Sheamus and Mark Henry that had taken place over the last several weeks, before going on an intellectual tangent about the riddle of the Gordian Knot. Both Striker and Sheamus tried to solve the knot puzzle before Sandow got out a pair of bolt cutters and cheated by using them to cut the knot. Sandow managed to dodge the subsequent Brogue Kick attempt, but then Sheamus got one over Sandow by tossing Striker onto him.
  • Chris Jericho defeated The Big Show by count out when Jericho gave Show the Codebreaker on the outside. After the match, Jericho hit Show with a series of chair shots.
  • Michael Cole said that Triple H was suffering from post-concussion symptoms and he’d be out of action for "some time."
  • Curtis Axel (with Paul Heyman) gloated about defeating Triple H on Monday Night Raw.
  • Curtis Axel pinned Sin Cara with a modified neckbreaker.
  • Kofi Kingston defeated Dean Ambrose via disqualification in a short match when Seth Rollins and Roman Reigns interfered. Randy Orton and Sheamus made the save. Teddy Long then came down to make the obvious trios match.
  • The Shield defeated Kofi Kingston, Sheamus & Randy Orton when Ambrose pinned Kingston with the Headlock Driver.

TNA Impact Wrestling (May 23rd)
  • Hulk Hogan declared that he doesn't care that AJ Styles was crossing over to the dark side later tonight. The Hulkster then brought Sting out and told him that he appreciated the gesture, but he doesn't have to agree to the stipulation that he never gets another title shot if he doesn't win the TNA World Heavyweight title at Slammiversary. Sting disagreed, saying that if he can't beat Bully Ray, then he doesn't deserve to be champion ever again. Brooke Hogan then came out and told them that they shouldn't take the blame for what she did by falling for "that dumb jerk" Bully. She was about to resign her position the Knockouts authority figure, but her father talked her out of it and then Bully Ray interrupted. He wanted to take the blame for everything that happened and then told Brooke that he still loved her and always would.
  • Suicide (played by T.J. Perkins) defeated Joey Ryan and Petey Williams in an X-Division match with Kenny King on commentary when he pinned Ryan with a wheelbarrow crotchbuster across his knees to earn a title shot at Slammiversary.
  • Chris Sabin offered to be James Storm's partner at Slammiversary, but Storm turned it down as Sabin had already earned an X-Division title shot on the show.
  • Backstage, Brooke Hogan grabbed Bully Ray and demanded to know what Bully meant by saying he still loves her. Ray calmed her down and simply repeated what he had said. He then walked off leaving Brooke all flummoxed.
  • Mickie James offered to postpone her Knockouts title match with Velvet Sky due to Sky's knee injury, but Velvet turned down the kind gesture.
  • Sam Shaw was set to take on Alex Silva in a Bound For Glory Series qualifying match, but Wes Brisco came out and revealed that he had taken out Silva in the parking lot earlier in the night. Brisco, Garrett Bischoff and Doc then ambushed Shaw until Magnus made the save, which led to...
  • Magnus defeated Wes Brisco via disqualification when Doc and Garrett jumped Magnus. Samoa Joe then ran off the Aces & 8s jabronis.
  • It was revealed that there would be a new TNA Hall of Famer announced at Slammiversary.
  • Mr. Anderson pinned Kurt Angle when Angle was distracted by AJ Styles showing up, which allowed Anderson to hit a low blow and surprise Angle with a roll up.
  • Taryn Terrell attacked Gail Kim while she was doing an interview about their match at Slammiversary together.
  • Shark Boy, Robbie E and a returning Gunner all vied for the honor of being chosen as James Storm's partner for Slammiversary. Ultimately, Gunner got the honor. He looked like a homeless guy.
  • Sting told Joseph Park that he'd been put in a tag match against Team 3D next week on Impact, hoped Abyss would be his tag partner and asked Park to arrange it. Park said he couldn't get hold of Abyss, so Sting chose him to be his partner instead.
  • Mickie James pinned Velvet Sky to win the TNA Knockouts title when James turned heel by using a chop block to Sky's injured knee and hit an implant DDT.
  • AJ Styles drunk beer with Aces & 8s and was given one of their jackets when a disgusted Kurt Angle came out. Despite Angle trying to talk him out of it, Styles put the jacket on and hugged all the gang members. Aces & 8s then laid out Angle and held him down whilst Styles smashed him in the knee with a hammer. However, it was a swerve as Styles then attacked Aces & 8s with the hammer to prove that he's a lone wolf.
