WWE Extreme Rules results: Sheamus wins strap match against Mark Henry

Sheamus defeated Mark Henry in their strap match at the Extreme Rules pay-per-view tonight (May 19, 2013) in St. Louis.

It wasn't much of a match, though the crowd did pop big for the finish, but Sheamus defeated Mark Henry in their strap match at tonight's (Sun., May 19, 2013) Extreme Rules pay-per-view (PPV) at the Scottrade Center in St. Louis, Missouri.

The concept, a silly one at best, called for big Irish to touch all four corners in succession before the "World's Strongest Man" did the same thing. They toyed with a few big spots but never really got to do any because, to my eyes, it appeared Henry may have injured himself early in the match trying to throw his opponent over the rope and back into the ring.

Even if he didn't suffer a legitimate injury, he simply wasn't the same after that happened.

The finish saw Sheamus touch three corners then battle with Henry before a Brogue Kick gave him time to touch the fourth to light up the green and give him the victory.

Here's to hoping WWE balances it out with a Henry win later on.
