So, I started watching yesterday evening's Smackdown and the show opened with this

and perhaps it was the first time I have seen ''Paul Bearer'' in quotation marks but for the first time since starting watching wrestling in 1999 I got that Paul Bearer's name was meant to be as in someone who carries a coffin. I know I'm not stupid but I am apparently pretty damn slow to take 14 years to get a joke.

I think perhaps when I was watching wrestling initially I was only little and didn't know what a pall-bearer was and so just accepted it as his name and then whenever he appeared in the years after that I just didn't even consider it.

So anyone else willing to admit they are as slow as me and are only just getting this as well or took years to get it?
