Whats up cagesiders, There was recently a post that talked about why Sting never came to the WWE. Really good read, but one thing stuck out to me. In the article, the author says that Sting v Undertaker, simply can not happen at Wrestlemania 30. It said that there was no way Takers retirement match would be against the icon. My question is, Why Not?? This is the match that has been 20 years in the making. Before we fantasized over punk austin or rock cena, THIS was the super match we all wanted to see. Why not send the dead man off on one of the most anticipated matches ever. Sting is OLD. We get that. so is taker. Do we wish this could of happened when the two were in there prime?? YES. Is this match most likely going to be a spotfest??? Yes. Do I care?? NO. If you put punk v austin on this card, along with Taker v Sting, you have maybe the greatest Wrestlemania ever. And yes, Taker can win without it hurting stings legacy. In fact, I think it may bring him up to a new level as the guy who wrestled takers last match. What do you think cagesiders??
