Hardy KO'd? - WikiMedia Commons

Possible post-WrestleMania storylines, TNA Lockdown notes, Jeff Hardy injury, TNA plants in the audience, The Bella Twins, and more!

Speculating on the rumors surrounding pro wrestling is a favored pastime of many fans, perhaps second only to actually watching the matches. In this daily column, we will be taking a look at the latest rumors being churned out by the pro wrestling rumor mill.

Important reminder: Rumors are just that -- rumors. None of this has been confirmed as legitimate news or fact; so remember to take it all with a grain of salt.

Rumors for the Day:

  • With their anticipated WrestleMania 29 match now officially booked, don't expect it to be the end for Triple H and Brock Lesnar. It is widely believed that Triple H will "get his win back" at Mania, with the two destined for a third "rubber match" to decide who wins the series. SummerSlam in August is a possibility, though past rumors have suggested that WWE would like to begin a Brock/Rock feud there in Los Angeles, CA.
  • Tickets are currently on sale for WWE events that take place after WrestleMania 29, and we may be getting a glimpse of future storylines. John Cena vs. CM Punk is advertised as the main event at several Raw shows with Alberto Del Rio and Sheamus teaming up to take on both Mark Henry and Jack Swagger at upcoming SmackDown events. Advertisements for May's Extreme Rules pay-per-view (PPV) are also promoting Del Rio vs. Swagger in a submission match, so don't expect that storyline to end at WrestleMania.
  • As you may have heard, Jeff Hardy suffered a legitimate concussion on the powerbomb spot at Sunday's (Mar. 10) Lockdown 2013 PPV. There is some concern that his momentum as the former champ could be killed if he misses any time due to the injury, on top of missing four weeks last month when TNA was touring the United Kingdom. Currently, it is not believed that he will miss significant time, if any at all however.
  • In another Lockdown note, TNA planted some fans in the stands to throw trash following the Bully Ray/Jeff Hardy match. They expected the rest of the audience to join in, and they did.
  • As you may have seen last night (Mar. 11) on Raw, Nikki and Brie Bella have returned to WWE. They have signed new deals with the company.
