On March 11, 2002, World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) went to the dogs, literally, when a filthy, slobbering cur named "Lucy" became a pawn in the mind games between Triple H (HHH) and Stephanie McMahon-Helmsley, who at the time were going through a bitter (kayfabe) divorce.
That was one of the main narratives for Monday Night RAW, which also included the first-ever Undisputed Champion Chris Jericho, who was doing all kinds of champion-like things, such as walking Lucy and kissing Stephanie's ass.
"Y2J" was involved in the feud as "The Game's" antagonist, and he not only garnered a ton of heat on this date in WWE history by backing over the purposeless pooch with a limousine, he also rushed out to save the "Billion Dollar Princess" from a vengeful HHH by hitting him with his own signature sledgehammer.
Check out Lucy in all her bulldog glory, as well as the insipid angle between all parties involved, in the footage below:
A longer, more detailed video of that night's tomfoolery can be found here, since Captain Cockrocket felt the need to disable embedding.
