WWE wrestlers who will likely fail to make the WrestleMania 29 card

The annual "Show of Shows" invades the Big Apple as WrestleMania 29 commences on Sunday, April 7th, 2013 at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey.

Several matches such as John Cena versus The Rock for the WWE Championship, Alberto Del Rio versus (insert WWE Superstar here) for the World Heavyweight Championship, CM Punk versus Undertaker, Triple H versus Brock Lesnar, and Sheamus versus Mark Henry are rumored to take place and Superstars such as Big Show, Randy Orton, Kane, Daniel Bryan, Ryback, Chris Jericho, The Shield, Dolph Ziggler, and the Divas will no doubt be making their presence felt in the Garden State as well.

However, there will be some high-profile Superstars who will no doubt miss being on the card for WrestleMania 29 as the following Superstars will likely be relegated to competing on WWE Superstars (a show for mid-to-low card wrestlers as well as the Divas) or jobbing to the big names on RAW and SmackDown until the WrestleMania 29 hype comes to an end.

Speaking of which, here are those unfortunate Superstars who will be pushed aside in the coming weeks when all is said and done:

Antonio Cesaro. The former Ring of Honor standout has become one of the WWE's rising heels when he won the United States Championship at last year's SummerSlam pre-show. Right now, the Swiss Superstar is currently feuding with The Miz but appearing on the actual WrestleMania 29 card remains to be seen.

Cody Rhodes. Rhodes has been booked rather vapid as of late, losing to the likes of Cena, Sheamus, Del Rio, The Miz, and even Brodus Clay. It seems that the rumored Goldust versus Rhodes feud has been nixed as Rhodes currently has no storyline right now.

Kofi Kingston. Like Rhodes, Kingston has also been on the losing end of things as it has been reported that the Ghanaian high-flyer has backstage heat with WWE Officials. But there is hope as his former tag team partner R-Truth spared him from a vicious beating from Damien Sandow this past Monday on RAW.

The Miz. Mr. Awesome has reinvented himself since becoming a babyface late last year as he is feuding with the aforementioned Cesaro for the US title. But, expect this match to possibly be a pre-show lumberjack match which will no doubt feature Rhodes, Kingston, Santino Marella, Zack Ryder, and the other midcarders and jobbers not booked for WrestleMania 29.
