The latest episode of Off The Top Rope is here!
The Cagesider's Pro Wrestling Podcast - made for you - by fans like you, has been made available for your listening pleasure as of today (December 4, 2013), by none-other-than your fellow Cagesiders, Mike (vfn) & Rex Ivanovic(the author formerly known as Buckeye Brawler).
Each episode features the guys discussing the latest news and goings-on of note in the pro wrestling world. Plus, they review a classic professional wrestling event.
In this episode...they start with WWE talk, including how good Smackdown's been lately, Daniel Bryan, Bray Wyatt, John Cena, CM Punk and the internet's unintended consequences, whether we're buying that the WWE is actually unifying the titles, and more. Then it's talk about a forgettable TNA show that included segments that desperately needed some editing, but it's hard to edit when you only have 12 wrestlers on roster.
After the break, Mike gives Rex a little Sporcle-esque quiz, and it's a great show in SuperBrawl II. Liger-Pillman, Kevin Nash trying his hardest, our differences on tags, bad finishes, and Luger not giving a damn (the show's a lot better than this description reads).
The fellas name their MVPs and LVPs, and then announce which show they're reviewing for next week, WCW Mayhem 2000. Just as we get out of bad wrestling, it pulls us back in.
