The next pay-per-view (PPV) on the WWE schedule is the Survivor Series event set to take place on Sun., Nov. 24, 2013, at the TD Garden Arena in Boston, Massachusetts.
We're already three weeks out from showtime. No match has been made official for the card just yet but there are some rumors regarding the direction the company is heading. Let's take a look:
- Randy Orton vs. Big Show (WWE championship)
It's possible this will be Show vs. Triple H but Orton needs an opponent to defend the title against and because Show is feuding with Triple H, that means he's feuding with his lap dog, Orton.
- John Cena vs. Alberto Del Rio (World heavyweight championship)
The return match after Cena won the title off him at Hell in a Cell. This is because Damien Sandow isn't quite ready for this spot yet and, well, there isn't anyone else to feud with over the title on SmackDown.
- Wyatt Family + 1 vs. CM Punk & Daniel Bryan + 2
This could be an eight-man tag match or a traditional Survivor Series elimination showcase. No word on who exactly would be teaming with either as the extras on both sides but this is quite the jump for the Wyatt clan.
- Rhodes Brothers vs. Real Americans vs. The Shield
It's possible The Usos will be thrown into the mix but the Rhodes brothers are most definitely feuding with the Real Americans while The Shield are too good to leave on the sidelines in a tag title match right now.
Keep in mind, none of the above is official. These are all simply rumors at this stage but you can be certain matches will be going official in the very near future considering how close we are to showtime.
