We're now just a number of hours away from the WWE Hell in a Cell pay-per-view (PPV) tonight (Sun., Oct. 27, 2013) at the American Airlines Arena in Miami, Florida, and a strange thing has happened.
The planned Intercontinental championship match pitting titleholder Curtis Axel against rising star Big E. Langston has been pulled from the WWE website.
Indeed, the match listing shows all the bouts scheduled for the PPV but Axel vs. Langston has been removed. In addition, the article promoting the "Kickoff" pre-show makes absolutely no mention of the match:
The pay-per-view precursor - which will be available in Spanish on YouTube - will feature expert panel analysis from some of your favorite WWE personalities. Josh Mathews will host a panel of R-Truth, Kaitlyn and Dolph Ziggler on the English-language Kickoff, while returning favorite Rey Mysterio will appear on the Spanish-language broadcast.
Catch your favorite Superstars and more when the WWE Hell in a Cell Kickoff streams live this Sunday, Oct. 27, at 7:30 p.m. ET/4:30 p.m. PT on WWE.com, the WWE App, YouTube, Facebook, Twitter, Yahoo!, Google+, Pheed, Pinterest, Samsung SMART TVs, Xbox Live and the Sony Entertainment Network.
There's been no official word from those in the know, so it's entirely possible this is simply a mishap with a website that has had a long history of mishaps. Still, it seems odd that all references to Axel vs. Langston have suddenly disappeared from WWE.com just hours before the show is set to go on the air.
As for the wrestlers themselves, let's look at their most recent tweets to get a clue.

Well, dear @KaitlynWWE. When a man finds a woman with big hips, a thin waist, and an ample bosom...

Yeah, I got nothing.
