The Undertaker is back in the news this week, as WWE starts to brainstorm ideas for WrestleMania 30. See what all the hubbub is about right here.
So, now that everyone is once again talking about "The Deadman," I thought it might be prudent to feature the former "American Badass" in this week's edition of Slapstick Saturday, where we travel back to 2004 when The Undertaker was feuding with John Bradshaw Layfield (JBL).
Feels like just yesterday, until you see Orlando Jordan and realize holy crap, we're talking almost a decade.
Anyway, one of the sight gags during their feud involved a pint-sized version of The Undertaker, who was referred to as "Mini-taker." While he's routinely been mistaken for WWE staple Hornswaggle, it's actually Dan DiLucchio, better known by the pro wrestling moniker "Short Sleeve Sampson."
See him take one for the team on Smackdown:
DiLucchio was no stranger to playing little versions of popular WWE superstars. In addition to The Undertaker, the TruTV star also appeared as a little Kurt Angle, as well as a little Boogeyman. After wearing gold for Micro Wrestling Federation, the 40 year-old veteran retired from the business back in August.
No word yet on his mini-streak.
