Over the past two days of wrestling there were many things that upset me and while I talked major amounts of shit on them they had moments that made you feel that thing that only wrestling fans know about. That feeling of having Dolph Ziggler come out at number 1 and number 2 is Chris Jericho, the man he got fired about 6 or 7 months ago. Moments like that give me this unique feeling.....its different for almost all pro wrestling fans but the sediment is the same. I smile and clap, usually while standing up. When the lights turned off and Jericho came out I was transformed back to the young kid who fell in love with wrestling.
There's time when wrestling and being a wrestling fan is something you're not always proud off....im looking at you Khali singing HBK's theme song. But us pro wrestling nerds we accept that shit to get to the greater moments. Seeing the likes of a Jericho or Brock Lesnar return when you have no idea its coming. My point of this whole thing is while wrestling can be predictable, embarrassing and sometimes uninteresting,i t has that ability to make us clap, make us stand up,make our jaws drop, make us giddy and bring us back to our childhood. All around I LOVE PRO WRESTLING and the feelings you get from truly special moments like thousands of wrestling fans in the arena cheering Jericho with thousands more at home cheering along. If I ever have to explain why I am a pro wrestling fan that would be my answer and non wrestling fans probably wouldn't understand it. So in summary wrestling has this unique feeling that can make you forget all the previous feelings you had prior and just mark out like the kid who fell in love with wrestling and that precious moment and sharing it with fellow pro wrestling fans....is one of the greatest things in the world.
