Although it looked to be in danger of getting upset by a 16 seed, the number one seeded "Bret Hart vs. British Bulldog, SummerSlam 1992" has advanced to the Round of 32 in the Cageside Seats Greatest Matches Tournament.
It looked bleak early and appeared a major upset was brewing in the Cageside Seats Greatest Matches Tournament but alas, it was not to be.
"Bret Hart vs. British Bulldog, SummerSlam 1992" had initial trouble doing away with "Shawn Michaels vs. Chris Jericho, No Mercy 2008" but eventually did just that, by a score of 39-18.
That may not seem all that close, but consider who was involved here. Michaels and Jericho are not only Internet darlings, they're both held in high regard among the active commenting community here at Cageside.
Apparently, they're not loved enough to overcome such a great match between Hart and Bulldog.
Logic wins!
Today's (Sept. 27, 2012) match-up will see number six seed "CM Punk vs. Daniel Bryan, Over the Limit 2012" take on number 11 seed "Randy Savage vs. Ultimate Warrior, WrestleMania 7." Remember to cast your vote!
