Royal Rumble 1992

We all know the concept of the Royal Rumble and the 1992 version, just the fourth of its kind, was perhaps the best of them all, even to this day, 25 Rumbles later.

This was also the only Rumble that would award the winner the WWF championship. Ric Flair took the honors after entering number three and lasting over 59 minutes.

Kenta Kobashi vs. Samoa Joe, Joe vs. Kobashi 2005

Kobashi, a Japanese star, traveled to America for just his second match on North American soil up to that point to compete in two matches under the Ring of Honor banner, the first being a singles match with Joe.

The result was the Wrestling Observer "Match of the Year" and a five-star rating from Dave Meltzer.
