With the 2012 edition of Night of Champions in the books, WWE's next pay-per-view will be the always intimidating Hell in a Cell, which takes place on Sunday, October 28 at the Phillips Arena in Atlanta, Georgia.
Meanwhile, here's what to expect at the fourth annual Hell in a Cell pay-per-view.
The John Cena versus CM Punk feud will continue.
After the John Cena versus CM Punk match for the WWE Championship at Night of Champions ended in a draw, Cena will no doubt get his revenge on the so-called "Voice of the Voiceless." With the Hell in a Cell match being a no count-out, no disqualification match, Cena will look to end CM Punk's 300 day-plus reign as WWE Champion. The question is does Punk have plenty of tricks up his sleeve (AKA Paul Heyman and The Big Show)?
Sheamus will have a new challenger for the World Heavyweight Championship.
With Sheamus' feud with Alberto Del Rio reaching a climax at Night of Champions, I expect the Celtic Warrior to be feuding with someone else for the World Heavyweight Championship. Dolph Ziggler currently holds the MITB briefcase but I don't expect him to cash in very soon. Cody Rhodes is another possibility but WWE Officials aren't very high on Rhodes for the time being and Wade Barrett doesn't seem ready for a main event push yet..
The only logical choice is the Big Show. Unlike Rhodes, WWE Officials are said to be very high on the Big Show as one of the top heels in the WWE and can be a perfect opponent for Sheamus at Hell in a Cell.
Finally, a very interesting Divas feud.
When Eve Torres replaced Kaitlyn as Layla's opponent for the Divas Championship at Night of Champions after Kaitlyn suffered an ankle injury at the hands of an unknown attacker, my gut feeling tells me that Torres is somehow involved in this. Expect Layla versus Eve for the Divas Championship to take place at Hell in a Cell, the only question will be will Kaitlyn be involved?
Several high-profile Superstars will be lost in the shuffle.
I don't expect the likes of Cody Rhodes, Antonio Cesaro, Kofi Kingston, & R-Truth to be featured on RAW or SmackDown for the time being, anyway. Rhodes and Cesaro will likely be relegated to WWE Superstars while I R-Boom to get their rematch clause against Daniel Bryan & Kane this week on either RAW or SmackDown before Bryan & Kane will likely enter a feud with Rey Mysterio and Sin Cara.
