Geno brought word earlier this morning of former Cryme Tyme member JTG's Twitter rant in which he expressed frustration with ... well, he didn't exactly say what but rest assured, he was pretty peeved.
Now word is coming out from The Wrestling Observer the reason JTG is so upset is a low WrestleMania 28 bonus.
Wrestlers are almost always guaranteed extra money if they appear on a pay-per-view (PPV) and based on how well the show does, the higher the payout is.
And for a show that almost broke the record for most sold, April 1's show should have added a couple of zeros to several Superstars' bank accounts.
Apparently, this wasn't the case and several mid-tier wrestlers were upset but afraid to speak up lest they be punished by even more decreased TV time or perhaps getting fired.
Not so much JTG who decided to bite the hand that feeds last night before Raw went live on the air. The report indicates he was left to his devices by his co-workers but was approached afterward by WWE officials to make sure everything was okay with the former NXT regular.
If it's any consolation to the Superstar, his former tag team partner Shad Gaspard expressed his support:
"Bravery is being the only one who knows you're afraid, but still fighting for what's right. I Stand With @Jtg1284 . How about You? RT if U do"
Bravery or begging for a pink slip?
I suppose we'll find out soon enough.
