WWE was running Monday Night Raw at the AT&T Center in San Antonio, Texas, last night (Aug. 6, 2012) and all was seemingly going swimmingly. But apparently something went down backstage that caused JTG to flip his lid and have a meltdown on Twitter during the show.
Here's what he had to say:
"The camels back just BROKE ! I had enought of this ... As a pro athlete,Im tired of me and my lockerroom brothers being taken advantage of . Fans have no idea what we go through.#itsanillusion ... Yea I said it ... Nobody wants to speak up, everybodys afraid of losing their job or getting taken off TV."
There's no telling what caused this outburst, as JTG didn't go into detail outside of the vague tweets you see above. Some have speculated he's complaining about his treatment by management, as others like Maxine have done before him.
Essentially, JTG is a jobber and he's been treated like one for some time now. He worked NXT extensively over the past year or so with the occasional trip to Raw to get squashed by Brodus Clay. Perhaps he was originally written into a segment but had it cut at the last minute and was upset about it. Who knows?
What will be interesting is seeing what comes of this. Either they turn it into an angle and he finds himself with a steady role on TV, he keeps his current role as a jobber and not much more, or he ends up future endeavored. You tell me which you think is most likely.
