The S3: YOUR Vote for the Week Ending August 5 and Last Week's Results

Thes3_lg_wbsm_medium_medium

CM Punk is a lightening rod for smark opinion. Some like him as a heel and there are even a couple of YOU who enjoyed his latest babyface character; others want him to transcend classification. Few will deny the impact of his June 2011 promo that kicked off WWE's version of the Summer of Punk, but are worked shoots and the "Reality Era" a good or bad thing? Most will agree he's an excellent talker, but there are those who praise his ring work as some of the best in sports entertainment while others knock it as looking weak and simply being his version of the five moves of doom.

Regardless of which side YOU choose in the CM Punk debate, what's undeniable is that We love talking about him. Even though he had never received the most Votes in a weekly Smark's Shoot Standings (S3), Punk has been leading our annual poll for a while now. Was his clothesline to a returning Rock enough to earn him his first weekly win? Read on to find out. Also, make YOUR voice heard on whether the latest wrinkles to Punk's character were the thing that impressed YOU the most in pro wrestling last week, or did someone else in WWE or TNA pique YOUR interest?

Remember, the poll is for the previous week - RAW from July 30, the August 2nd episode of Impact and the Smackdown that aired on Friday the 3rd.

Make YOUR mark, smarks!

Punk got YOU a little something to say thanks for his first weekly S3 crown.

Her new position moves her even further away from in-ring competition, but AJ stays in a familiar position near the top of the Standings. The TNA champ follows right behind, and YOU thanked Damien Sandow for another week of tutelage with his highest finish ever. The number one contender for the World Heavyweight Champion finished just in front of the man holding a contract for a shot at said title at a time and place of his choosing. Daniel Bryan and Heath Slater tie with Ziggler, proving that there is no such thing as bad publicity in the televised world of WWE. And a returning Rock is deadlocked with the new Intercontinental Champ for the final spot in last week's S3.
