Stone Cold Steve Austin is one of the most popular pro wrestlers of all time, after all, so his advancing to the Elite Eight in the Cageside Seats Pro Wrestling Tournament felt like a foregone conclusion. Some are even speculating that there's no reason he won't win it all.

He certainly had his way with Bruno Sammartino, winning by a score of 100-20.

This sets up an awesome match-up in the next round. Austin will face the winner of the Shawn Michaels vs. CM Punk match. That should be one for the ages.
