WWE considering new Saturday morning programming

Will we see the revival of WWE Jakked?

Professional wrestling on the weekends seems like distant memory.

No matter the generation you are grouped into, there are more than likely fond memories of turning on your television on a Saturday or Sunday to catch a pro wrestling show. WCW had shows like Main Event, Saturday Night, Pro, and Worldwide. ECW on TNN was a staple of Friday nights, while also having their Hardcore TV programming air on the weekends in some markets. And of course, WWE had a slew of shows like Sunday Night Heat, Velocity, Saturday Night's Main Event, Shotgun Saturday Night, Jakked, and Metal to cap off your week.

However, recent news is suggesting that WWE is attempting to bring back those memories of weekend wrestling.

WWE sent out a survey this week regarding a new show that would air on Saturday mornings. Obviously, nothing is set in stone, but check out what the survey had to say:

"Imagine a weekly, half hour WWE television show on Saturday mornings that included highlights of the best action and funniest moments from recent WWE events and from the past. The show would feature fun segments with WWE Superstars both in the ring and behind the scenes to give viewers a chance to get to know them even better. Every episode would also include one action-packed match featuring different WWE Superstars each week.

Based on this description, please rate the following show titles on a scale of 1-5 (5-excellent; 4-good; 3-neutral; 2-fair; 1-poor):

WWE Saturday Morning Slam

WWE Jakked

WWE Amp'd

WWE Supercharge

WWE Turbocharge

Regardless of name or focus, more free pro wrestling isn't something you'll hear me complaining about. Depending on what the show focuses on and how well it is done, this could be a great start to a wrestling fan's weekend.

What name are you liking, Cagesiders? And more importantly, are you looking forward to weekend wrestling?
