Of the many women who have come down the aisle in the professional wrestling industry, perhaps none have been as beautiful as the lovely Mickie James.

And it was on this date in history (Aug. 31, 1979) that she was born in Montpelier, Virginia.

James got into the business in 1999 and was working as a top Diva upon her arrival in World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) by 2005. After an extremely successful, though at times tumultuous, five year run with the company she was released and has been working with Total Nonstop Action (TNA) Wrestling as one of its top Knockouts ever since.

Not that such things mean all that much but as of this time, she's the only woman to have held the WWE Women's title, the WWE Diva's belt, and the TNA Knockouts championship.

She's kind of a big deal, y'all.

That may be mostly in my head, though, as fans of Cageside Live undoubtedly know. As far as I'm concerned, she's one of the hottest women to ever grace a wrestling ring. Anyone care to disagree?
