Well, that certainly doesn't look like the work of a razor blade.
The big hubbub following Monday's (Aug. 27) installment of Raw was whether or not CM Punk bladed during his match with commentator and part-time wrestler Jerry Lawler.
It was reported the WWE Champion has suffered no consequences of a result of getting bloody which led my Cageside colleague Geno Mrosko to theorize he is either part of an elite club of Superstar which can get away with such an infraction or he somehow convinced everyone the blood was a result of a legitimate cut.
Well, earlier today Punk posted the picture you see to your right -- and a few other tweets -- which shows eight staples getting the skin on the top of his head together.
Unless Punk is horrendous at blading, this appears to be a cut caused by something other than a razor blade.
In addition to the photo, Punk sent along the following tweet:
"The staples are fake too."
He also went on to tweet he paid Charles Robinson's, the referee in the match, fine and also had this to say:
"And yes, I have more power than you could possibly imagine."
"500k fine. Drop in the bucket. Bucket of blood!"
Is Punk ribbing his 1.2 million Twitter followers or did he really drop half a million for getting color on Raw?
