HHH has had a hell of a career. Raw was so gracious enough to point that out to us last night on numerous occasions...zzzzzzzzzzzzzz. Oh...I'm sorry, I thought Cole was talking about how great HHH was again. Sorry. Anyway, HHH has had a great career but this past year has been absolutely abysmal for the guy. Let's take a look.
He started it all by firing "Pops" last year in what was the cheesiest acting job of any wrestler ever. EVER! That scene was so unbelievably bad I cannot even compare it to anything else.
Next he injects himself into the hot topic of last year and that was CM Punk. He goes on to try to capitalize on the Punk wave and ends up looking horrible in the process.
He then starts the worst fued that's happened in the WWE in the past 10 years with Nash. Good lord this was horrible! Absolutely nothing good came from this.
Then he starts the "End of an Era" campaign with Taker. He completely burried every wrestler in the company in order to put himself and Taker over. Granted, the match itself was great and in my opinion was the match of the night at WM, it was the build to it that I had a problem with.
Next up he gets involved with Lesner and "breaks" his arm only to be seen a week later at a UFC event perfectly fine. He provides a crappy buildup to the Lesner match but that may partially due to the contract of Lesner and having to fued with Heyman instead. The match was OK but definitely not an instant classic. Now he has a "broken" arm again. Nice.
Then last night's debacle. My GOD that was horrible. It was embarrasing to watch and the hyperbole of emotions he showed simply to milk the crowd was gut wrenching.
It's time he goes away. No big goodbyes. No farewell match. Just go away. Everything he has touched in the past year has turned to crap. The crowd knows it and it showed in the non-emotion they showed last night in his...whatever the hell that was. Go away.
