Total Nonstop Action (TNA) Wrestling continued its Bound for Glory (BFG) Series during last night's (Aug. 23, 2012) episode of Impact that featured two matches that saw some movement in the standings.
Just not at the top.
First, the promotion had to tie up the loose end left by The Pope, D'Angelo Dinero, when he suffered a legitimate shoulder injury. They did so by having Robbie E take on AJ Styles and Rob Van Dam in a triple threat match that served as the substitute.
Robbie E earned the pinfall to pick up seven points in his last match of the Series. At least he didn't finish in last place, huh?
Meanwhile, Mr. Anderson pinned Bully Ray to pick up seven points and close out his Series outside the top four.
Here's a look at the updated standings:
1. James Storm -- 66 points (12 matches)
2. Samoa Joe -- 61 points (11 matches)
3. Rob Van Dam -- 55 points (11 matches)
4. A.J. Styles -- 50 points (11 matches)
5. Kurt Angle -- 48 points (12 matches)
