Maybe the loss of A.W. affected The Prime Time Players more than they'd care to admit.
Darren Young and Titus O'Neil failed in their bid to usurp the WWE Tag Team Championships from the tandem of R-Truth and Kofi tonight (Aug. 19) at SummerSlam in Los Angeles, CA.
The two teams have been at it for weeks now and they finally met inside the ring with the straps on the line but one person was noticeably absent from the ringside area.
It was The Primetime Player's former manager, A.W., who was legitimately fired two weeks ago for comments made about Kobe Bryant's rape allegations during a live episode of Raw.
Whether or not that was in the back of the minds of O'Neil and Young is up for debate but what isn't up for debate is the results of the match which ended with the champs retaining their titles.
