I don't want to be one of those guys who criticizes something before they experience it firsthand but it's hard for me to figure out a way SHINE Wrestling 2's main event could be satisfactory.
Last night's headliner went to a No Contest after Mercedes Martinez and Jazz began brawling before both ever made it into the ring.
Now, if this ended up being a wild, around the arena brawl which, for all intents and purposes, was a match without the backdrop of a ring or referee, then that's fine.
If it was just both ladies slugging it out for a bit, I can't understand the logic in booking your second show's main event in such a manner.
But again, I'll have to see for myself.
In other action, ACW veterans Su Yung and Mia Yim picked up wins over Kimberly and Sassy Stephie, respectively. While Jessicka Havok, ACW Queen of Queens finalist and WSU Champion beat out Matt Hardy's main squeeze, Reby Sky.
Sojo Bolt beat Heidi Lovelace and Taeler Hendrix while Rain used the ropes as leverage to pin Santana Garrett.
My heart breaks typing this: Leva Bates beat Portia Perez after blocking a superkick and nailing her own. After the match, she and Allison Danger made a SHIMMER Tag Team challenge against Perez and her fellow Canadian Ninja, Nicole Matthews.
And in the co-main event, Made in Sin -- Taylor Made and Allysin Kay -- defeated the team with the dopest name ever MSEERIE, the tandem of MsChif and Christina Von Eerie with some help from April Hunter who was described as Made in Sin's "insurance policy."
Thanks to RingBelles for the rundown.
