Kevin Nash as The Russian in The Punisher, the role that forced him to cut his hair in 2003 on Monday Night Raw.
Maybe this is why Kevin Nash still has an issue with Chris Jericho.
Almost a full decade ago, Nash had returned from a long absence (due to injury) for a feud with Triple H. If that sounds familiar, it's because they basically did the same thing this past year. You know, buddies in the foxhole and what not.
After he was disposed of in a couple matches on pay-per-view (PPV), Nash was sent down to the mid-card to feud with Chris Jericho. Around the same time, he landed a role in the film adaptation of the comic-book The Punisher. To play his character, The Russian, Nash had to cut his hair short.
Naturally, WWE found a way to put the process on TV by running an angle where Nash and Jericho would have a "Hair vs. Hair' match on Monday Night Raw, which took place on this date in history (Aug. 18, 2003).
Obviously, Nash lost and Jericho cut (some) of his hair in the ring. Watch it all go down after the jump.
