Because quite frankly, both of those companies can offer some pretty paltry offerings.

So if you want something new and creative, the independent wrestling scene is where to go.

Below the jump is the latest news for this weekend including SHINE Wrestling 2's internet pay-per-view (iPPV) and CHIKARA's doubleshot of shows which will crown this year's Young Lions Cup champion.

Ring of Honor (ROH)

The biggest news coming out of ROH -- besides the Kevin Steen attack at Boiling Point being staged -- is former Anarchy Championship Wrestling (ACW) Heavyweight Champion ACH will be making his promotional debut at Death Before Dishonor X in September.

Speaking of ACW, a little stable by the known of The Submission Squad has locked up the final slot in this year's King of Trios tournament. Evan Gelisitico! Gary Jay! Pierre Abernathy! Davey Vegas! Learn these names because they will be our new wrestling overlords soon.

But before that, CHIKARA invades Milwaukee for the first time tonight!
