The first event in the Cageside Seats Pay-Per-View Pick 'Em competition is upon us. It's SummerSlam 2012 and it goes down this Sun., Aug. 19, 2012, from the Staples Center in Los Angeles, California.

The game is simple. We list the match-ups in this post, you pick who you think is going to win, post it in the comments section of this thread, and we'll tally the standings, which will be posted the Monday following the event. For each correct prediction of the undercard matches, you get one point and for correctly predicting the main event (whichever match goes on last), you get two points.

This continues for every WWE and TNA PPV event until the end of the year, when the points will be added and a winner crowned. For complete details, including the spoils that will go to the victor, click here.

Now onto the line up for SummerSlam:

Brock Lesnar vs. Triple H
CM Punk vs. John Cena vs. Big Show
Sheamus vs. Alberto Del Rio
Kane vs. Daniel Bryan
Chris Jericho vs. Dolph Ziggler
The Miz vs. Rey Mysterio
Kofi Kingston and R-Truth vs. The Prime Time Players
Santino Marella vs. Antonio Cesaro

Make your predictions for each match in the comments section below. Good luck!

UPDATE: I should have specified but this post will be updated tomorrow (Sat, Aug. 18) to allow ample time for everyone to get their picks in. The cutoff is midnight CT on Saturday night the 18th.
