He still doesn't "officially" have an opponent for Summerslam. Except he does.
WWE Smackdown comes waltzing back into our lives tonight (Fri., Aug. 17, 2012) from Texas featuring a taped show on SyFy. And it's the go home show to the Summerslam pay-per-view set to go down this Sunday night in Los Angeles.
The fine folks at WWE have been getting mixed up regarding how to promote the PPV, too, considering they've waited to the last minute to figure out who will challenge Sheamus for the world heavyweight championship. Originally, it was Alberto Del Rio but Booker T got mad and pulled him from the match.
Or so it would seem. WWE was still promoting it and rest assured, it all gets settled tonight.
Other action tonight features Randy Orton vs. Daniel Bryan, a solid tag team match with Rey Mysterio and Sin Cara taking on The Miz and Cody Rhodes, and Eve Torres vs. Kaitlyn with a spot in Booker T's administration on the line.
All that and more.
If you don't want to wait until tonight, you can click here to read full spoilers.
Remember, the show starts 8 p.m. ET on SyFy so be sure to get here nice and early to join in with all your favorite Cageside commenters. Smackdown live blog after the jump.
