He did it at WrestleMania 14 and now he's done it again.
Stone Cold Steve Austin was the man to send Shawn Michaels into his first retirement, winning the WWF championship from him back in 1998, and now "The Rattlesnake" has retired "The Heartbreak Kid" from the Cageside Seats Pro Wrestling Tournament in a match-up many considered worthy of the finals.
Austin's 126-95 victory advances him to the Final Four.
This should come as no surprise, considering the audience here at CSS and the immense popularity of Austin, who helped lead the pro wrestling boom in the late 90s. Still, it's jarring to see Michaels exit at this point, a fact a few of you are blaming on seedings.
The chips fall where they may.
