The S3: YOUR Vote for the Week Ending August 12 and Last Week's Results

The Smark's Shoot Standings (S3) are YOUR opportunity to let Cageside Seats and the Internet Wrestling Community know what YOU think about the past week in nationally televised pro wrestling. Vote in our poll of wrestlers who played a major role in last week's shows. Pick the performer that entertained YOU the most, had the most convincing victory, raised their profile with a powerhouse promo...whatever YOU decide.

Each week, YOUR votes determine a winner. And the weekly S3 determines how many points are awarded toward our annual standings. It's pretty fun. Join the party after the jump.

Remember, the poll is for the previous week - RAW from the 6th, the August 9th episode of Impact, the Smackdown that aired on Friday the 10th and TNA's Hardcore Justice Pay-Per-View (PPV).

Make YOUR mark, smarks!

Daniel Bryan is dubious...are YOUR Votes just part of AJ's evil schemes?

A starring role in vignettes on Raw and Smackdown elevated Bryan back to the lofty heights he occupied for a month earlier this summer. Heel or tweener, the WWE Champ drew his usual high Vote total and his TNA counterpart hangs a few spots back (also as usual). YOU enjoyed Damien Sandow using his DX-enhanced profile to attack the Funkasaurus, and at least a handful of smarks are buying into the rebuilding of Alberto Del Rio. The Raw GM has her lowest finish in quite a while, while the Smackdown GM closes the Standings in a tie with the heels chasing each promotion's top prize and behind a returning Viper.

The S3 - Week Ending August 5

1. Daniel Bryan
2. CM Punk
3. Damien Sandow
4. Austin Aries
5. (tie) Alberto Del Rio
5. (tie) AJ Lee
7. Randy Orton
8. (tie) Bobby Roode
8. (tie) Big Show
8. (tie) Booker T

And that leaves YOUR annual Standings looking something like...this:

The S3 Performer of the Year - through the Week Ending August 5

1. CM Punk - 118 points
2. Daniel Bryan - 106
3. AJ Lee - 101
4. Austin Aries - 84
5. Dolph Ziggler - 76.5
6. Bobby Roode - 40
7. Damien Sandow - 39.83
8. Chris Jericho - 39
9. Big Show - 29.5
10. Brock Lesnar - 26.5

Vote, then use the comments to tell us why YOU Voted that way (prose and GIF format accepted). If YOU believe we've left someone out of the poll, write-ins are accepted in those same comments.
