On this date in WCW history: Monday Nitro in Wyoming after Hog Wild 1996

Stay connected for news and updates

Instead of a typical "this date in history" post, I thought it might be fun to simply watch an episode of Monday Nitro, World Championship Wrestling's (WCW) popular flagship program that caused so many headaches for Vince McMahon and the World Wrestling Federation (WWF) throughout the mid to late 90s.

This particular episode comes just two days after the Hog Wild pay-per-view (PPV) that saw Hulk Hogan defeat The Giant to win the world heavyweight championship and spray paint the New World Order (nWo) logo on it. You can read up on all that by clicking here.

Now, WCW is left to deal with the fallout as Nitro emanates from the Casper Events Center in Casper, Wyoming.

Enjoy!
