Last night's Smackdown ended with Alberto Del Rio beating down his scheduled SummerSlam opponent Sheamus, before they could have their show-closing match together, with the help of some hired hands pretending to be cops after the Irish fella for stealing ADR's Ferrari for a joyride on Monday Night Raw this week.

WWE.com exclusively caught up with Smackdown General Manager Booker T before the night was over, who was irate at Del Rio's underhanded behaviour and dropped a bombshell on the sucka:

Why wasn't I there? Man, this is Houston, Texas, alright. First World championship match as GM, I wanted to watch it from the sky box with my family. That was my fault, that was my fault, that's on me man.

Repercussions? You're damn right, there's gonna be repercussions. Alberto crossed a line this time, you know it, I know it, everyone knows it. I gotta do something about this. And let me tell you, you're going to the be the first one that knows this: Alberto Del Rio, SummerSlam match is off. That's right, his SummerSlam match is off, it's over and I know Alberto can dig that.

This is almost certainly just an angle to build up Raw's ratings on Monday night. Del Rio will likely have his lawyers handy to ensure that he still gets his World Heavyweight Championship title match with Sheamus at SummerSlam.

However, as f4wonline.com suggests, this could also be a way to get Randy Orton (who is currently not on the SummerSlam card) involved in the match in some form. Vince McMahon may feel the need to insert him into the mix at the last minute, as the hype for the biggest WWE pay-per-view of the summer has been surprisingly luke warm so far.

Other things scheduled for Monday Night Raw this upcoming week include: CM Punk vs. Big Show in the opening segment and Shawn Michaels is back again, likely involved in another angle with Brock Lesnar and Triple H.
