Chris Jericho reportedly done with WWE at August 14 Smackdown taping

At least for the time being, that is.

Everyone knows Chris Jericho isn't just a WWE Superstar but he also fronts his own rock band by the name of Fozzy. And they're about to embark on nationwide tour which kicks off in a couple of weeks in Kansas City, MO before ending at the beginning of December across the pond.

With so much rocking, how will Jericho find time to wrestle?

According to PWInsider, he's not.

They're reporting Jericho's final WWE date will be August 14 at a Smackdown taping, a few days before his tour kicks off and the week before SummerSlam.

But didn't he just start a program with Mr. Money in the Bank Dolph Ziggler? Are we expected to believe their rivalry will begin and end in the matter of a few weeks?

And as my Cageside colleague Keith Harris pointed out back in June, this tour curiously leaves Mondays free as well as this month's (August 19) SummerSlam event. Noting this, I just don't think Jericho will be M.I.A. as the original report suggests.

While Jericho's role might be diminished while on the road with this band, I wouldn't chalk scheduling an entire tour while leaving Mondays opens as pure coincidence.

Plus there's the matter of his aforementioned feud with Ziggler which deserves a payoff bigger than a tape-delayed Smackdown can offer.

What do you think, Cagesiders?
