Hot on the heels of the news WWE has signed Dragon Gate standout PAC, PWInsider brings word Vince McMahon and company have snatched up another indie superstar.

Sara Del Rey, known for her work in Ring of Honor (ROH), CHIKARA and SHIMMER Women Athletes, has agreed to a deal with the world's premier wrestling organization.

"The Queen of Wrestling" is currently underdoing the pre-signing medical tests required of all potential hirees but if all goes well, expect Del Rey to report to Florida Championship Wrestling in the very near future.

This is a boon for WWE's Divas division which has been littered with models turned wrestlers for too long. Rather than hire capable wrestlers to fill the ranks, WWE seemed content to sign on a pretty face, teach her a handful of moves and throw her out into the ring.

Yes, Kelly Kelly, I'm looking right at you.

With the likes of Beth Phoenix, Natalya, a returning Kharma and now Del Rey, will the Divas division experience a renaissance in the early 2010s?
