Bound for Glory Series standings updated after TNA Destination X 2012

Total Nonstop Action (TNA) Wrestling has wrapped up its Destination X pay-per-view (PPV) event last night (Sun., July 8, 2012) from the Impact Zone in Orlando, Florida, and that means it's time to update the Bound for Glory Series standings.

And wouldn't you know it, movement!

Samoa Joe vs. Kurt Angle was the only match that took place but because Joe won by submission, he was awarded 10 points to put him in the lead.

Here are the updated standings:

1. Samoa Joe -- 37 points
2. James Storm -- 36 points
3. Jeff Hardy -- 21 points
4. Kurt Angle -- 20 points
5. Magnus -- 14 points
6. Mr. Anderson -- 9 points
7. D'Angelo Dinero -- 7 points
7. Rob Van Dam -- 7 points
9. Christopher Daniels -- 5 points
10. Bully Ray -- 0 points
10. Robbie E -- 0 points

Before Destination X, it looked like Storm would run away with the BFG Series and Bobby Roode would hang on to his title until they met for the inevitable rematch with the title on the line. The natural progression of the story, of course, would see Storm go over clean to win the belt and become the next big babyface champion for the company.

That could all still happen, but Roode shockingly lost his belt to Aries last night and Joe is now in the BFG Series lead.

The wacky world of TNA.
