The S3: YOUR Vote for the Week Ending July 29 and Last Week's Results

Thes3_lg_wbsm_medium_medium

Blah week is blah. A week without major waves resulted in a low vote total. There were still winners, and wins in the weekly Smark's Shoot Standings (S3) translate into points toward our annual Performer of the Year Standings. YOU can read all about it after the jump.

But this past week? 1000th episodes, heel turns, invasion angles? Fuhgedabbaudit. So much going on, and YOU can Vote in the S3 poll below for whoever's work YOU enjoyed the most. And, enjoyment being a completely subjective thing, YOU don't have to explain YOUR Vote to anyone - although we sure do like when YOU use the comments to do exactly that.

Remember, the poll is for the previous week - RAW 1000, the July 26th episode of Impact and the Smackdown that aired on Friday the 27th.

Make YOUR mark, smarks!

Guilty...of stealing YOUR Votes! (And jolie's ♥)

With only 50 total Votes, there wasn't a lot of distance between first and last place. But Dolph had momentum on his side, and a chance to cut a promo on Jericho with that shiny blue briefcase in-hand was enough for YOU to award him another ten points. It was only a week ago that AJ and D-Bry looked so happy - the S3 was pulling for those crazy kids to make it work - and their impending nuptials landed them both a nice finish. Rey jumped out of sky (and off the suspended list) to make his debut on the list at number six. And enough folks were paying attention to the Bound for Glory series leader board to earn Samoa Joe a few Votes and his first S3 appearance.

The S3 - Week Ending July 22

1. Dolph Ziggler
2. AJ Lee
3. Austin Aries
4. (tie) CM Punk
4. (tie) Damien Sandow
6. Rey Mysterio
7. Daniel Bryan
8. (tie) Samoa Joe
8. (tie) Big Show
8. (tie) Heath Slater

Dolph inches up our annual Standings, as the top half continues to distance themselves from the field. A few weeks of a hot angle or being booked to look strong could shoot just about anybody up YOUR Standings, though.

The S3 Performer of the Year - through the Week Ending July 22

1. CM Punk - 99 points
2. Daniel Bryan - 92
3. AJ Lee - 86.5
4. Dolph Ziggler - 72.5
5. Austin Aries - 69
6. Chris Jericho - 39
7. Bobby Roode - 38
8. Big Show - 27.5
9. Brock Lesnar - 26.5
10. (tie) Sheamus - 25.5
10. (tie) John Laurinaitis - 25.5

Punk has been cruising along despite the criticisms of the Internet Wrestling Community (IWC) - how will YOU react to his rudo side peaking through this past week? Do returning legends like Rocky and 'Taker still impress, or will Smark fave and martyr Damien Sandow receive YOUR Vote for making the most of his chance to shine opposite some past greats? Is Austin Aries, World Heavyweight Champion, making YOU more interested in TNA and their players? Do Funny or Die videos count in the S3? YOU decide!

See YOU next week - have a great week in and out of the wacky world of pro wrestling!
