After the closest vote so far in the second round of the Cageside Seats Pro Wrestling Tournament, Bruno Sammartino has advanced to the Sweet Sixteen by narrowly edging out Triple H.
The final tally saw Bruno win by a score of 84-79. To showcase how this match-up went back and forth throughout the day, here are the various times the match was tied:
For the record, those of you who were trying to keep track of the tally as it was going (including myself) were wrong every time. But that's why we have an official tracker to make sure we get it right. And in this case, Bruno basically rolled up Triple H after a grueling back and forth match with plenty of near falls.
A true champion always prevails, I guess. Sammartino advances to the next round where a brutal match-up against Stone Cold Steve Austin awaits.
