New Raw logo
Out with the old, in with the new.
Ahead of tonight's (July 23) Raw 1000 show, TVLine has released the new logo for WWE's flagship show.
It's nothing fancy but it's not terrible, either. Keep in mind, I'm no graphic design guru so the logo may be terrible and my puny brain just doesn't know it.
One thing I noticed -- and this may be due to the logo itself not being 100% complete or the absolute official version -- is the lack of the term "Supershow" underneath.
Since WWE has quietly dissolved the brand extension and has had their main Superstars appearing on both Raw and Smackdown, the Monday night show had the Supershow modifier attached to it.
While I don't think this means the likes of Sheamus or Alberto Del Rio won't be appearing on Raw anymore, it could be a subtle change to indicate the brand extension is, indeed, dead.
Now if only we can do something about that Nickelback song...
How do you like it, Cagesiders?
