World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) really is pulling out all the stops for next week's historic 1,000th episode of Monday Night Raw.

The pre-show that has become the norm for pay-per-view events will air live at 7:30 p.m. ET on WWE.com and the company's YouTube channel. The plan was announced via press release, though no details were given.

Typically, the pre-show is simply a match (that would normally be a dark match for the live crowd only) used to get the fans in attendance at the arena ready for the show. It's safe to assume something similar will happen here, along with an extensive preview of the evening to come, which will feature the return of a few big stars and a stacked line up for the three hour show.

A look at what we can expect:

-- D-Generation X
-- Mick Foley
-- Bret Hart
-- The Rock
-- Brock Lesnar answers Triple H's SummerSlam challenge
-- John Cena vs CM Punk
-- The naming of the permanent General Manager
-- Daniel Bryan and AJ's wedding
-- Christian defending the Intercontinental title

This one is going to be big, Cagesiders.
